USA SIEGER SHOW 2011, Dallas, Texas with Bernd Weber and Karen Macintyre | Results for Team Nummer Eins.
USA Sieger Show, 2011
The USA Sieger Show, 2011 is finally over and everyone has made it back home safely. Some jubilation and some regret is always a part of the practice. Win or lose, its more a reflection of where you stand in the breed, or more appropriately, where the breed stands and what you are doing to improve it. Here, it should not go without mention, the interactions with the fellow dog people who are in it with you for the ride, just to enjoy watching the dogs or to compete by your side and ending up in front or behind you. Personally, I prefer the latter scenario :)
Yvonne and I set out with similar aspirations as so many others who participated and trained hard for the moment. But this time, there was a bigger part to it. This time, we had to illustrate the production capabilities of the sire in question, the sire of the V litter von Nummer Eins, multiple VA Bobo v Arlett CA. Bobo is owned by our dear friend Marco Saccoccio in Canada, and for us is the finest SG1 BSZS Quentin Karanberg son out there, which by no means is a short feat since Quentin has been one of the best producing males in Germany in the recent years. Bobo was VA2 Vice Sieger at the 2009 NASS and then went on to be V 29 in the German Sieger Show with limited showing and no progeny group. You can visit him on his own website at www.bobovonarlettca.com
The proverbial stars seemed to be aligned for this excellent male, who is not just a pretty dog with loads of temperament, but also a very dominant producer of all his attributes.
Marco decided to put together a progeny group for Bobo so he could exemplify what his male is actually capable of producing and now was the time to start calling friends with puppies from Bobo. At the end, the set prerequisite number of required dogs was reached, the magical number 6, originating from 3 different litters. And off we all were to Dallas.
Another friend of ours, Nicole Riley, the distributor of the finest dog trailers, dog boxes and accessories was also instrumental in this achievement as she was the one who actually hauled some of the dogs in her ultra luxurious trailer.
Thanks Nicole, you’re the best. You can visit her website at www.rileytrailers.com
